ARRIVE MITIGATES AV “COLA WARS” WITH UNIFIED NETWORK CONTROL SOLUTION

Arrive®.ControlPoint™, the AV Industry’s first Unified Control solution networks with leaders Crestron & AMX to provide powerful unified managed services and scheduled automation.

TORONTO, Ontario - June 10, 2008 - Arrive® Corporation announces the introduction of Arrive®.ControlPoint™. This new system leverages the potential of providing thousands of meeting rooms, conference rooms, classrooms, lecture rooms and connected venues the ability to achieve advance room booking, scheduled automation, remote device management and monitoring.

Companies such as AMX®, Crestron® and Extron® have made strong inroads into the business of providing local control and automation in the AV industry. Much like the famed “cola wars” the industry has seen a slew of new products and technologies being introduced that work in an isolated and standalone fashion to retain exclusivity of the share of the customer’s presentation space.
Arrive’s ControlPoint™ software release mitigates this divergence by providing a network control interface which talks seamlessly with industry leading in-room control processors and AV products that have a LAN interface to provide a single unified user interface from any network or web-connected PC or from scheduling tools such as Microsoft® Office Outlook.

“Many users who are managing large corporate and educational IT departments, facilities managers and dedicated AV and Media managers have asked us for a simply designed network connected tool that will make the chore of room booking, scheduled control, remote device management and monitoring simple yet effective in resolving daily conflicts and chaos,” says Aseem Gupta, ARRIVE’s Founder, Chief Visionary & CEO. “The introduction of Arrive®.ControlPoint™ reflects our commitment to convergence of ICT, increased productivity for user, higher ROI’s for AV investments and meeting the real-world needs of users who want to make progressive choices.”

All technologies introduced by Arrive® are based on delivering the Green ICT (Arrive®.Green AV+IT™) objective. Arrive®.ControlPoint™ eliminates room scheduling conflicts and saves the time and effort required to start-up installed AV equipment by a simple click on pre-sets, thereby saving users many hours of productive time in equipment set-up. Its remote device management capability ensures that the equipment does not consume idle power thereby saving on energy consumption as well as consumable costs such as lamp life.

Internationally headquartered in Dubai, UAE, with its North American HQ in Toronto, Arrive® Corporation is part of the transnational Visionaire Group and brings to market more than 100 years of combined experience and knowledge equity vested in Information-Communication Technology (ICT) and Audio-Video Systems engineering, design and integration. The company has established affiliations and operations in more than 33 countries in North America, Europe, Middle-East, Africa, Asia and the Pacific Rim and has an enviable customer list comprising of leading technology companies that include Microsoft, IBM, Juniper Networks, Cisco, Nokia, Sony, Computer Associates, Nestle, P&G, leading financial institutions such as Goldman Sachs, Lehman Brothers, American Express, UBS Group, Northern Trust Bank, Sumitomo Bank, and leading educational institutions such as the extended campuses of Wharton and Kellog Business Schools in India to name a few.

Like many other companies located in Dubai and the surrounding United Arab Emirates (UAE), Arrive® represents a new breed of company that has a strong focus on human capital development and invests heavily in the creation of innovative practices, technology, infrastructure and business markets and capital. This sophistication and technical prowess of having operations in UAE, India and China  are proving important in enabling companies, like Arrive®, to capitalize upon their strengths and develop new and innovative technologies and products.

Arrive® has created a whole suite of products that are targeted towards reducing climate change. The solutions have the potential of becoming strong contributors to reduction in carbon emissions, energy management and sustainable technology implementation. At Infocomm’08, Arrive® Corp will introduce seamless convergence of AV and IT with the mantra schedule, connect, control, monitor.

Arrive®’s developers successfully created a framework called the Arrive®.Chakra. The concept is adapted from age-old sanskrit philosophy which stems from the seven embodiments of the electrical thought form and its translation to the language of light. The Arrive®.Chakra framework embodies the language of networks and the principle of unity of metadata. Using Arrive®.Chakra, relational database fields are nourished equally in real time in the form of text, illustration, audio, video, animation, command codes and prompts, all working in unison.

“Through our systems integration experience of deploying some of the most sophisticated presentation room technologies, we realized the profound positive impact a single and centralized management framework could have in improving the productivity and value of advanced presentation and conferencing systems,” explained Aseem Gupta, founder, CEO and Chief Visionary of Arrive Corp. “Having developed both best practices and a truly innovative technology suite for managing the entire presentation room experience we are excited to present these live at INFOCOMM’08 booth C2434.”

Long considered an industry visionary within the Middle-East AV systems integrator industry, Gupta brings a strong pedigree of knowledge and direct experience in the area of ICT/AV convergence technologies. He is the entrepreneur behind the successful The Visionaire Group which has operations located across Asia and the Middle East with a staff more than 500 people. His career spans more than 25 years serving as the founding Director of Imation ME and responsible for growing the Visual, Photo, Printing Systems and Data Storage Products Markets Group for 3M Corporations’s EMEA subsidiaries.
